Joel Cockhill
Joel is Member of the Chartered Institute of Highways and Transportation and is an Associate Traffic Engineer in the NRP Traffic and Transportation team based in Bristol. His role involves the management of traffic and transportation projects and a technical lead on scheme design and traffic modelling. Joel has over 9 years’ professional experience, having worked on a wide range of transport and highways projects with multi-modal objectives.
Joel has been responsible for the implementation of innovative designs incorporating infrastructure new to UK roads and has overseen the trialling, construction and monitoring to ensure their successful delivery. Large-scale schemes involving dramatic streetscape changes within complex urban environments have become his speciality, and he is a champion of simplicity and flexibility.
