NRP Shortlisted for the 2026 CIHT Innovation Award

We’re proud to share that together with Westminster City Council we have been shortlisted for the prestigious 2026  CIHT Innovation Award!

This nomination highlights the transformative impact of the Side Road Crossing Trial, which has achieved a significant increase in driver compliance with the updated Highway Code. The trial’s evidence-based approach has already influenced national policy, playing a pivotal role in Transport for Wales’ decision to amend legislation, paving the way for these crossings to be implemented across Wales.

A huge congratulations to everyone involved in this collaborative project. Winners will be revealed at the Chartered Institution of Highways & Transportation (CIHT) Awards Ceremony on 17 June 2026, where the industry will gather to recognise the people and projects making a real difference.
