norman rourke pryme were employed on the project which comprised the partial demolition and reinstatement of the existing warehouse and associated offices following the Buncefield oil terminal explosion. Detailed surveys were carried out at the outset to identify the scope of reinstatement works.
The contract was negotiated with costs agreed with insurers as the works progressed and the completed building was handed over in sections to allow early re-occupation by the tenants. This building was one of the nearest to the blast and yet one of the first to be re-occupied.
