Project summary
NRP was appointed to deliver comprehensive Cost Management and Employer’s Agent services for the construction of Feltonfleet School’s new Performing Arts Centre.
The project aimed to enhance the school’s educational and cultural offerings by providing a state-of-the-art facility dedicated to the performing arts.
The new Performing Arts Centre was designed to be a multifaceted space, incorporating a range of facilities to support the school’s curriculum and extracurricular activities. Key components of the project included:
- Theatre: A modern, fully-equipped theatre designed to host a variety of performances, including drama, music, and dance. The theatre featured advanced audio-visual technology and flexible seating arrangements to accommodate different types of events.
- Practice Rooms: Several purpose-built practice rooms were included to offer students dedicated spaces for rehearsals and individual practice. These rooms were designed with acoustic considerations to ensure optimal sound quality.
- School Reception Facility: A new reception area was integrated into the Performing Arts Centre to improve visitor access and create a welcoming entrance for students, parents, and guests.
