Gray's Inn Road, Camden

NRP provided traffic planning advise services for the London Borough of Camden which included developing and assessing improvements for walking and cycling along Grays Inn Road.

This involved concept junction design and detailed traffic modelling using LinSig and VISSIM. NRP tested multiple options through these models to identify a preferred solution. A RAG analysis was conducted to evaluate each option based on factors such as pedestrian amenities, cycle facilities, cycle delays, public transport impact, traffic reassignment, kerbside provision, junction capacity, network resilience, and overall operation.

Additionally, NRP provided VISSIM visualisations for public consultation, enabling the community to easily visualise the scheme’s design and operation.
