Chris has been a transport planner and traffic engineer for over 20 years during which he has gained extensive experience on a wide range of projects.  He has played a key role in a number of high-profile traffic engineering and traffic modelling projects for both the private and public sector including the City of London, the London Borough of Camden, Westminster, as well as various central London Business Improvement Districts (BIDs).  

He has recent experience of developing and designing traffic management solutions to reduce the dominance of the private car, as well as network wide highway schemes, including public transport, pedestrian and cycle priority measures. Such schemes include Strand-Aldwych, the changes at Bank Junction, and St Paul’s Gyratory. 

Chris has considerable experience in delivering the highest quality traffic models, which have led to multiple scheme approvals.  He is proficient in the use of Vissim and LinSig for the assessment of signalised and priority junctions as well as complex highway networks. Chris has excellent project management experience and client relationship skills with comprehensive knowledge and practical experience of UK traffic design and modelling guidance.
