Throughout his career, Dean has led the detailed design of a diverse range of highway and public realm projects. He works closely with clients, contractors and stakeholders to navigate constraints related to levels, drainage, kerbing, materials, traffic management and constructability—ensuring designs are coordinated, workable and ready for successful implementation.

Dean has extensive experience supporting schemes from concept through to construction, including managing technical approvals, responding to on‑site queries, and overseeing design changes during delivery. Having worked within both consultancy and contracting environments, he brings a rare dual perspective that strengthens his ability to anticipate risks, identify mitigation strategies early, and foster effective collaboration that minimises disruption to the network.
