Dean has over 16 years of experience working on and managing transportation projects and teams in the UK, North America, and the Middle East, Dean is highly experienced in leading on the design, modelling and appraisal of a wide variety of projects including active travel, healthy streets design, bus priority, public realm improvements and traffic engineering design and modelling.
Dean has excellent knowledge of the UK wide and TfL specific design/modelling standards and processes having led on some of London’s largest and high-profile transformational traffic engineering and modelling schemes.
He has considerable experience in testing designs and schemes using the VISSIM micro simulation software with VISVAP and the junction modelling programs TRANSYT, LINSIG, SIDRA, ARCADY and PICADY. He has industry leading experience with the innovative UTC-VISSIM interface as well as excellent knowledge of the modelling standards in London, gained by producing many schemes and models for TfL and working as a model auditor for TfL.
