Prior to joining NRP, Gerhard worked in South Africa as a Quantity Surveyor, Estimator and Assistant Site Agent for a road and earthworks contractor. His quantity surveying responsibilities include: tendering and estimating for new projects and managing project financials such as managing subcontractor contracts, monthly valuations, preparing bills of quantities and drafting contractual correspondence.

Gerhard’s site agent responsibilities include: regular site inspections to manage and maintain programme, develop and compile site quality records, analyse non-conformances and initiate corrective action, ensure compliance with all statutory regulations. Gerhard has worked with a range of different forms of contract including JBCC, GCC, NEC and COLTO contracts.
