Richard’s project experience spans a wide range of sectors and land uses across the UK and internationally, including residential-led masterplans, urban regeneration schemes, and large-scale commercial developments. He also has specialist expertise in developing transport strategies for sports stadia and arenas.

With a passion for sustainable transport and healthy wellbeing, Richard places active and low-carbon travel at the core of movement strategies and technical solutions. His work is grounded in high-quality planning and design, ensuring that sustainability is embedded throughout the planning and development process.

Richard’s key skills and responsibilities include preliminary transport design, freight and servicing strategies, parking strategies, transport assessments, and network capacity analysis. Richard also provides expert advice on highway agreements to facilitate development and guides projects through the highway works process.
