Good

Sean has considerable experience working in development control with extensive secondment posts for various London Boroughs, Bristol City Council, South Gloucestershire Council, Bath and Northeast Somerset Council, Swindon Borough Council, and Somerset Council. Reviewing everything from driveway and extension applications through to senior client officer for regional developments.

Sean has played a key role in a number of high-profile rapid transit schemes, public transport schemes, park & ride schemes, and recently, Central London transport schemes. Working with Department for Transport, Highways England, Transport for West Midlands, West of England Combined Authority, Bristol City Council, Worcestershire County Council and Centro.

For three years Sean was worked for High Speed Two as the Assistant Traffic Manager for Area North. This was a strategic level role responsible for the northern section of the proposed route which runs from Warwickshire up and through the new proposed Interchange Station, at Birmingham NEC/Airport, and into the proposed new Curzon Street Station.

Sean is proficient in the use of Junctions 9 and LinSig for the assessment of junction capacity. Sean also has experience in designing highway schemes, including signalised junctions and pedestrian and cycle facilities. Sean has good project management experience and client relationship skills.

Sean has comprehensive knowledge and practical experience of UK highway and traffic design guidance including, but not limited to, the following: DfT Design manual for Roads and Bridges, London Cycling Design Standards, Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions, and Manual for Streets.
