After working as a consultant in social housing and CDM he joined NRP in 2015 as senior project manager and Principal Designer. He is a member of the RICS Quantity Surveying, Building Surveying, Project Management and Dispute Resolution Faculties.

Tom joined the Association of Project Safety in 1984 and has Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) Safety for Senior Executives and Managing Safely qualifications as well as National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health (NEBOSH) Construction Certificate.

He is registered with Safety Management Advisory Services (SMAS) as a Principal Designer and works in several sectors including; Education, Social Housing, Retail, Commercial, and Civil Engineering.
