In the run up to International Women’s Day 2022, NRP colleagues will be participating in the ‘Cycle for Smart Works’ challenge and raising vital funds for the Smart Works Charity.

The NRP Woman’s Committee was created with the aim of creating an inclusive and safe environment for the women within our business, encouraging them to collaborate, support each other, raise awareness and take part in exciting events that share similar values. That is why they have rallied the troops to take part in this years ‘Cycle for Smart Works’ event.

Our team of five, ironically named the ‘NRPedallers’, is led by one of the committee members, Ana Carolina Alberge Francisco and includes Dumi Muwowo, Keith Firth, Matt Thomas and Nico de Jong, who will collectively cycle 500 miles between 1-8 March to raise money for this amazing charity. To get the fundraising started, NRP will be donating £500, but the team will be looking to increase this with any further donations received using the one of the links below.

Smart Works is a UK Charity that exists to give women the confidence they need to reach their full potential, secure employment and change the trajectory of their lives, all of which strongly aligns with NRP’s own values. Particularly in the aftermath of the pandemic there are more women who need our support and for the past five years the event has raised over £500,000 for the charity and the event has helped over 20,000 women across the UK so far and we are proud to be able to help this number continue to grow and to support this amazing organisation.
