norman rourke pryme were employed on the project which comprised the partial demolition and refurbishment of the existing offices and the majority of the warehouse following the Buncefield oil terminal explosion. The re-building was undertaken on a “like for like” basis with new MEP services throughout. Being immediately adjacent to the oil terminal, the warehouse suffered severe damage. norman rourke pryme were appointed as Cost Consultant, Project Managers and Employer’s Agent. norman rourke pryme also carried out works for the tenant (liasing with their consultants) and negotiations with insurers.
