norman rourke pryme were jointly appointed by Selex Communications (occupier) and, Selex Galileo (site owner) to provide single point project management services for the refurbishment of their existing facility.
The project consisted of the refurbishment of three existing buildings in two contracts. The first contract was for the removal of asbestos, stripping out and demolition works. The second contract was for the fitting out of the created space into general offices, lecture rooms and assembly areas, laboratories and clean rooms.
The main site computer and IT server was located within the area of refurbishment and had to remain “live” for the entire duration of the project.
